"We shall make
nation great again!!!" quoted my friend
Well agendaposting aside, There are a few rules that comes to my mind when making this team: 1. If a sinner has a w corp id, use it; 2. Field as much W corp ids as you can. After I've done slotting in all the current W corp ids, I realized "dang this kinda suck!". Mostly because W corp ids are kinda bad in general: they deal less damage compared to every other status team, they have almost no synergy with each others, and they are kinda boring (i guess, personally i found them sastifying to play).
The only good thing I can say about this team is their clashing ability, and absurd coin powers.
So I ponder "How to make these ids work?", The synergy problem is unsolvable because of [Heathcliff] W Corp. L4 Cleanup Agent - CCA taking up the slot of [Heathcliff] MultiCrack Office Fixer ([Outis] W Corp. L3 Cleanup Captain barely count :sob im crine), and the boring problem is up to everyone preferences. So it is the damage problem needing to be solved, but how? After looking through all the id from the left over 4 sinners, I have come up with this: W corp. Tremor Decay Gaming. Is it optimal? Obviously not, but I hope this at least would make W corp nuke turns feel more impactful.
So let's theorize,
For [Rodion] Rosespanner Workshop Rep, she is among one of the highest
potency applier in the game not accounting for
spamming [Rodion] T Corp. Class 2 Collection Staff (you will die) and most of Ishmael
ids. Beside the generic
gaming and
Tremor Burst, she is our only good choice left from the non-w corp id sinner we have, also because the Ishmael slot is already decided.
For [Ishmael] Jeong's Office Rep, while her
potency application is not as amazing as her other
ids ([Ishmael] LCCB Assistant Manager, [Ishmael] Zwei Assoc. West Section 3), her
count is definetely more than enough for this team that barely
Tremor Burst anyway. Her main show here is our very underrated
Tremor - Decay, 1
Defense Level Down every 4
Tremor. At 36
Tremor, the enemy will have 9
Defense Level Down; at 99
Tremor, the enemy will have 24
Defense Level Down (divided then rounded down). Next I will show everyone a math equation (let us call ol for offense level and dl for defense level)
This equation is used to determine the damage bonus you get from the difference between your skill's offense level and the enemy's base/skill defense level (this can be negative). Because of the absolute value and division present in the equation, said equation is non-linear (so this clear the misleading concept of 3
Defense Level Down = 1
Fragile, as the bigger the difference the more diminishing the return). Assume equal offense and defense level on both side, with 24
Defense Level Down, we would get a ≈ 49% damage boost to your raw damage. That's quite a lot, especially for a team full of ids that don't have said damage modifiers. The downside? reaching 99
Tremor potency. but realisitically, after most of the
ids here done setting up for their nuke turns, we would have +20
Tremor potency by the first nuke turn, 40+ by the second nuke turn, and so on... so yeah, this id will be our core (probably) for this team.
Now for some notable selection, we will be skipping analyzing [Heathcliff] W Corp. L4 Cleanup Agent - CCA, [Don Quixote] W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent, [Ryōshū] W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent, and [Yi Sang] W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent. This is because you mostly play them like a normal
unit: build
Charge, use
Charge on nuke turns or 1 by 1, etc... you get the idea.
For [Faust] W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent, her main use here is her WAW EGO [Faust] Everlasting; though because of her insanely low speed range, you would not be using this EGO like usual (
Tremor nuke turns), instead you would be using this EGO mainly for its pretty insane
Tremor application (20/16 @@). This would definetely accelerate the value of
Tremor - Decay, and also because this EGO do
Amplitude Entanglement we can guarantee that Ishmael got a chance to
Amplitude Conversion to
Tremor - Decay on the next turn.
For [Outis] W Corp. L3 Cleanup Captain, she is here to try and maximise as many buff as possible for the w corps ids via
Load, even if the ramp up is insanely long (:sob). I think she can have an use for longer fight? but if you think her contribution is not that impactful, you can always switch her with the other backup w corp ids.
For [Hong Lu] W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent, erm... he have [Sinclair] Cavernous Wailing ... but people on this team barely
Tremor Burst anyway + using it would make Ishmael unable to do
Tremor - Decay gaming without the use of Everlasting, so he is on backup.
Finally, it is the w corp man [Meursault] W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent, the reason I put him on backup is because while 8
Defense Level Down sounds great, you would get less value out of it due to how the equation works (considering a high
Tremor - Decay stack already present on the enemy; you would be only getting an extra 7% damage when there are 99 {status:vibration} or an extra ≈ 15% when 28 {status:vibration}). Of course there are other issues with him such low clashing or whatever ([Meursault] Regret carry).
So that's one way to make
team (w corp) better? I am just hoping that whatever w corp ids left for the other 4 sinners would be good enough or unique in a way that make w corp synergistic as a team (pls kjh i need this); kinda like how [Meursault] Blade Lineage Mentor elevates the entire Blade Lineage team to high heaven (i guess).
Have a good day 🐢!
