Updated Burn+Tremor team I'll use for the next MDE 60 I'll run. I also included a full detailled description for the gifts, mainly to help myself navigate MD correctly and get the best out of my runs.
Unlike my previous iteration ({build loading...}) this team does not make use of Desperado, you can make it fit by using [Sinclair] The Thumb East Soldato II and even get to 8+ but I do not find that gameplay that interesting to shoehorn in that team. Alternative IDs will be provided, but keep in mind it makes Dawn Office shine less and deactivate their unique gift.
Here's the ideal MD path to get the most out of unique gifts :
Floor 1-2 :
Only noteworthy choices here are Automated Factory for Haunted Shoes and Made-to-Order and Faith & Erosion for Blood-red Mane (for +2 Power on Rodion's evade)
Floor 2 :
Hell's Chicken is probably this floor's pick though, Hot ‘n Juicy Drumstick, Tango Marinade and Sharp Needle & Thread are all hard to pass, and the chance to sell Dry-to-the-Bone Breast also helps spin up your cost gain.
Floor 2-3 :
Falling Flowers is a decent pick up if you can get Kaleidoscope, which is +3 Offense Level Up for your Thumb and Dawn IDs
Floor 3-4 :
As a Tremor team A Certain World for Chief Butler's Secret Arts to craft Handheld Mirror (which guarentees you can stagger through Tremor easily) is almost always a great choice.
Full-Stopped by a Bullet is amazing for Rodion, CQC Manual gives her a free 1 Attack Power Up and +50% damage for Disposal and ramps up her Poise before you get gifts, Gear Shrapnel is 1 Power for her evade and +10-20% damage for the team later on, Darkflame Smoking Pipe is 2 Attack Power Up. While less important you can get some benefits out of Implicit Contract Renewal and Swift Command.
Since you're a Wrath team, you'll likely eventually pickup Wound Clerid so that you can get Bleed going on. If you do, while a bit of a meme-pick as the competition for early pack is fierce, picking up Thermal Weapon in Charm, Wander, Doubt helps keep up the Bleed stack in exchange of some Burn and helps making use of Ruptured Blood Sac later in the run for extra damage.
Floor 4-10 :
Timekilling Time and Timekilling Time BokGak for Pocket Watch : Type L and Pocket Watch : Type P. You also really want Interlinked Time. As usual, Microprecision Time Accelerator, Prepaid Time Receipt, Warning Notice and Chalice of Trickle-down and Emergency Investigator Badge are all really good here.
LCB Regular Check-up and LCB Regular Check-up BokGak for Combustion Gloves, Embers, Re-ignition Plug and Trial Extraction : A.B.S for improved damage and clashing. Ideally get all of these from the BokGak version. Operation Authorization Card is low priority but can be useful for extreme.
Season of the Flame has Wing-shaped Waxen Candle and Searing Brass. The former makes Sinclair count as a Tremor ID and helps Faust ramp up, as well as giving 1 Clash/Base Power and +10/15% damage by activating
Dawnherald immediatly. The latter is eventually +33 Max Burn and +30% damage, which increases your damage greatly.
Miracle in District 20 BokGak is always good, getting Jolly Plushie, Shadow Monster and Gift which all add some utility and damage. Additionally, as this is a "Long Battle" Pack, you're also getting 3 Levels from completing it.
The Dusk of Amber has Beak-shaped Necklace and Staticky Two-way Radio. That's some extra power for Rodion, but you'll also want them if you're going for Desperado. Royal Jelly Perfume, Harmonics and Walking Bass are also okay here, they can put you at risk but increase your damage.
Floor 5-10 :
Textbook is even better than it was before, Searing Hammer gets you more out of your Tremor Bursts, Red Necktie allows you to craft Uniform - Liu Assoc. for one Coin Power on S3 and +20-30% damage, and Tributary Cigar helps Thumb IDs even more and make Heathcliff ramp up over 3 turns. Since there's a high concentration of important gifts, including a Tier 4 Tremor one, I suggest you wait until you're sure you can craft them, ideally with a guarenteed upgraded shop.
Unbound Wrath is your other shot at getting Wing-shaped Waxen Candle, Searing Brass. Additionally since you'll end up being all Wrath, Entangled Fate is really good here.
If you're looking for other options if you're skipping one of the aforementionned pack here are some :
Yield My Flesh to Claim Their Bones BokGak has Rusted Hilt and Red Tassel, and you can get some use out of Broken Blade and Hardwood Liquor Cup. The Unchanging has Broken Glasses for an extra Clash Power and some Offense Level. Line 3 has Unhatched Embers and Contempt of the Gaze of Contempt. Mnestic Experience has also decent Slash/Poise gift, with Ohra Bond, Crushed Wooden Manacle, Unadorned Sword-guard, Flagroot Cane Sword and Baekja Water Dropper.
Floor 11-15 :
You can get Line 3 here.
Like the previous guide, you'll want to get Bearers of Weight for Burning Fate for an extra +30 Max Burn, Burn activation on Clash Win, and Offense Level.
Chachihu gives you access to For the Capo for an extra 2 Tremor Burst, up to 522 bonus Wrath damage, +2 Coin Power and +30% damage for Rodion.
Bloodtinged Ichthyic Odor has Clappity Clap!, which essentially has 4/5 chances to give you an extra useful Tremor type, with Reverb or Hemmorhage being favorite (though Chain and Decay are not bad either), bringing a bunch of extra damage from your Bursts.
Those are the essentials. You'll try to fight Valencina to get Imperfect Eye of Precognition, but The Abandoned Oracle is also great given your Unbreakable Coins.
Here's my favorite part, counting how many time you trigger Burn and Tremor Burst.
For Burn, you activate it 13-14 times through Purloined Flame thanks to the extra attacks from Faust, Heathcliff and Gregor, and assuming a reused Blazing Strike. Assuming 7 full clashes, it's 7 times from Burning Fate. You're also getting an extra 2 from Embers, and Glimpse of Flames is a pseudo 10 times (for 1620 Wrath damage every turn). Gregor activates it 0-1 times, Sinclair activates it 2 times (assuming a reused Blazing Strike), and it activates once per default.
That's a total of 35-37 activations, ignoring chip damage from Dawn Office that counts as it activating. Absurd !
For Tremor, Rodion triggers it 3-4 times, Gregor 1 time, Faust 3 times, Meursault 3 times, Heathcliff 3 times, and Outis 1-2 times. You also activate it 2 times through For the Capo, 2 times through Downpour, up to 4 times with Interlinked Time and 3 times if you have Imperfect Eye of Precognition. That's 22-27 Bursts, excluding using [Faust] Everlasting, which can increase that amount to a max of 53-56 times if I'm not incorrect (which definitely would kill your Tremor Count, as well as your Burn Count lol).
